Tiddly Learning has two main areas of focus:
- news and developments from the TiddlyWiki community (including my own plugins, themes, bookmarklets and other TiddlyWiki related projects)
- the use of technology in education, with a focus on TiddlyWiki
My introduction to TiddlyWiki came about during the course of my work with a non-profit organization, deploying educational and health-care solutions in under-served areas of the world. TiddlyWiki proved to be the kind of lightweight, flexible tool we needed in order to share information efficiently, both for administrative purposes and in the classroom.
As I became more familiar with TiddlyWiki, I developed some plugins and themes to customize it and expand its capabilities. This weblog, Tiddly Learning, was started in order to share these customizations with the TiddlyWiki community, along with providing news and resources for those interested in customizing or using TiddlyWiki.
My keen interest in customizing and deploying TiddlyWiki for use in education remains strong, so in the days to come I will be extending this blog to cover TiddlyWiki uses in this area. Email and RSS subscriptions are available for your convenience.
